Join the team to build a brand‑new team for a new 3‑bed EBD home in Birmingham. With the service preparing for Ofsted registration, we are now recruiting:

Support Workers
Senior Support Workers
Team Leaders

This is a rare opportunity to join a home before it opens, shape its culture, and be part of a team built with purpose, quality, and stability at its core.

What You’ll Be Part Of

This new home will support children with emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can rebuild trust, develop resilience, and thrive.

You will work closely with an experienced Registered Manager and senior leadership team who are committed to:

High‑quality, child‑centred practice
Trauma‑informed approaches
Staff development, wellbeing, and progression
Creating a stable, supportive, and positive team culture

The Roles

Support Workers

You will play a vital role in daily care, routines, activities, and emotional support. You’ll help create a safe, structured environment and build meaningful relationships that make a real difference.

Senior Support Workers

You will support the leadership team with shift coordination, mentoring junior staff, leading by example, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality practice across the home.

Team Leaders

You will take responsibility for leading shifts, supporting staff performance, ensuring compliance, and acting as a key link between the team and management. Ideal for those progressing toward Deputy Manager roles.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from people with:

Experience in children’s residential care (EBD, LD, or similar)
A child‑centred, resilient, and compassionate approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and high‑quality care
Ambition to grow, develop, and progress

For Senior and Team Leader roles, we are also looking for:

Experience leading shifts or mentoring staff
Confidence in decision‑making and safeguarding practice
A desire to step into more responsibility
