Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves supporting kitchen operations, assisting with meal preparation, and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and food safety procedures
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Replenish supplies and ensure all serving stations are well-stocked
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food items
- Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience through friendly service
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and preparing the dining area for service
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment will be highly regarded
- Basic kitchen experience, including food handling and safety procedures, is desirable
