Sterile services Process Technician
Nuffield Health Wetherby HSSU Hub LS237FA | Sterile Services | Bank -ad hoc

£12.84 per hour

Working weekend we will pay 20% on top of your hourly wage

Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm week day training would be advantageous for the role, when fully trained more hour maybe available

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Process Technician at our Wetherby HSSU Hub, you’ll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You’re organised with good communication skills – and ideally, you’re able to show evidence of sterile services training.

As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:

Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery
Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard
Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order
Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults
Work with a strong friendly team
Take on training as required
Be computer literate
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Take action to resolve any problems
Escalate issues where necessary
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
