Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of payroll processes and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Duties
- Process end-to-end payroll on a [weekly/monthly] basis
Prepare payroll reports as required
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Calculate wages and deductions
- Manage statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and pensions
- Handle payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with Care Home Managers to ensure accurate data flow

Skills
- Experience is preferred but not required
- Understanding of payroll legislation and procedures
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,785.00-£27,000.00 per year
