Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Digital / UV Printer Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining UV printing equipment to produce high-quality customised products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for manufacturing processes, working in a fast-paced environment that values precision and efficiency.

Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor digital / UV printing machines to ensure optimal performance and print quality.
Prepare substrates and materials for printing, including loading and aligning items accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimise downtime.
Perform quality checks on printed products, ensuring colours, resolution, and finishes meet company standards.
Assist with fabricating and assembling components as required, utilising hand tools and power tools.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or production area.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot printing machinery effectively.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop software is a plus
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment for fabrication or assembly tasks.
Experience with fabricating or working within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling processes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in setting up and operating complex machinery.
Prior experience in digital printing or UV printing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the manufacturing sector while contributing to high-quality production outputs.
