The role: Teaching Assistant & Admin Support

Grade & salary: Grade 2: £21,567 - £22,610 actual salary per annum

Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Contract term: Permanent

Ashfield School is renowned for high standards of teaching, behaviour and academic achievement. One of the largest schools in England (2700 on role), staff work together each day to support, inspire and challenge students to give their best in our safe, happy and ambitious working environment.

The role:

Ashfield School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and Admin Support to join their hard working and highly effective inclusion team.

This role will provide administrative and organisational support to the school’s SENDCOs as well as playing an integral part in ensuring student meet targets and progress.

The person:

The successful candidate with have experience of working with children and young people, and must have strong administrative skills.

The post holder will need to have an understanding of how children learn and have the ability to manage difficult behaviours. In this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, students and families.
