We are seeking a motivated Trainee Fence Erector to join our team. This offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience installing fencing. The role involves working on new housing sites to assist with the erection of various types of fences. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of different types of fencing, including wooden, metal, and composite materials.
- Operate power tools safely under supervision during various stages of installation.
- Help with site preparation, including clearing and setting out work areas.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and work areas throughout the project.
Experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A driving licence is essential and the ability to get to our yard for 7:30am Monday-Friday.
Pay: £24,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
