Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team. Duties
- Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Perform detailed inspections of vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and suspension.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Document test results accurately and provide clear feedback to customers regarding any necessary repairs or issues found during testing.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repairs when required.
- Stay updated with changes in MOT regulations and best practices within the automotive industry.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive testing or repair.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
