We are seeking seasonal, part time (possibility of full time), fun, enthusiastic individuals who are into their local food scene and are barista trained to join our Front of House team in our soft play and cafe at Salt Pig The Farm Putlake. You will be serving customers in our cafe with food and drinks and also will be welcoming people when they arrive to pay admission for the soft play and attraction farm. Hours will include weekend and some early evenings.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing customer orders, making amazing coffees, serving food and maintaining high standards of food safety and safety in and around the soft play and attraction farm. Duties
- Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests and requirements are met.
- Serving food.
- Making barista coffees.
- Assisting in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Providing assistance to guests as required, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Assisting with catering for private and public events in addition to normal duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
- A genuine interest in local food.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
