Full job description

J Hardy Civils is looking for an experienced and reliable Ganger to join our growing team working across the SSEN network on a variety of civils and utilities works.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating daily activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise site operatives
Coordinate daily works, labour and plant requirements
Ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
Maintain site standards and productivity
Liaise with Supervisors and Management teams
Promote a strong health and safety culture

Essential Requirements:
✔ Previous experience as a Ganger within Civils / Utilities
✔ Full UK Driving Licence – essential
✔ Valid Machine / Plant Tickets – essential
✔ Good communication and leadership skills
✔ Strong understanding of safe working practices

Desirable:

Experience working in the civils / utilities industry
CSCS / CPCS / NPORS
Streetworks qualification
