Full job description

Twynham House Nursery School, part of Simkap Childcare, is looking for a caring and reliable Lunchtime Assistant to join our friendly team in Christchurch.

This role is perfect for someone looking for school-friendly hours, whether you are returning to work, looking for part-time employment, or simply enjoy working with young children in a supportive environment.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 2:30pm

About the role

You will play an important part in supporting our nursery team during the busy lunchtime period by:

Helping supervise children during mealtimes
Supporting children with their independence and self-care skills
Assisting the nursery team to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
Helping create a positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for children

About you

Friendly, caring and reliable
Enjoy working with children
Positive team player
Previous childcare experience is helpful but not essential
