Full job description

We are looking for a hardworking and efficient Sales Advisor to join our growing Coalville-based telematics company Global Telemetrics, which is the name behind proven and award-winning stolen vehicle tracking brands such as SmarTrack and Autowatch UK.

This vacancy is for a position within our internal Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively managing sales enquiries generated through inbound calls and emails, identifying customer requirements, developing sales opportunities and converting these into new business, while also providing high-quality pre- and post-sales advice and support.The role is varied and involves working closely with both B2B and B2C customers, as well as supporting our external colleagues and wider business.

Working as an integral part of a driven and collaborative team, the role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience, helping us maintain our position as a leader within the Stolen Vehicle Recovery market, and directly contributing to both the company’s and the Sales Team’s annual targets. We actively support employees who demonstrate commitment, initiative and a willingness to learn. As our business continues to grow, so do the opportunities available to our team. Responsibilities and Duties

Manage and respond to customer and dealer enquiries efficiently and accurately via email and telephone, identifying and maximising sales opportunities.
Take ownership of sales enquiries from initial contact through to conversion, identifying customer requirements, recommending appropriate products and services, and converting opportunities into sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B and B2C customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell where appropriate.
Provide high-quality pre- and post-sales support, ensuring customers receive a consistent level of service throughout their journey.
Provide internal sales support to our team of External Sales Executives and our nationwide network of approved Dealers.
Produce, manage and track quotations, following up with customers where appropriate to maximise conversion opportunities.
Act as a key point of contact for several large accounts, providing ongoing account management and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Coordinate and book installations where required.
Process sales orders accurately using Salesforce CRM system and ensure all relevant customer and sales information is maintained accurately and up to date.
Complete accurate month-end order reconciliation for key accounts and provide reports to Finance for invoicing purposes.
Maintain accurate sales records to support monthly reporting of sales enquiries, sales figures and conversion rates.

Who are we looking for?

Previous sales and customer service experience, with a proven ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
Commercially aware and motivated by achieving team and company targets.
Confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner and strong relationship-building skills.
Customer-focused, professional and positive in approach.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Confident working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
IT literate, with experience using cloud-based email and document systems.
Experience using a web-based CRM is preferred but not essential.
Experience within the Telematics or Auto Electrics sectors is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
