Stage 1: Sift
At sift, you will be assessed against the following Success Profile elements:
Experience you will be asked to provide a CV (unlimited wordcount) and personal statement (750-word count). Please provide evidence of your Experience of the following:

Experience of leading teams and suppliers, managing stakeholder relationships, and communicating clearly through reporting, issue resolution, and meetings.

Strong electrical/mechanical expertise applied to maintenance, compliance, asset and budget management, delivering efficient and high-performing estate operations.

Demonstrate experience of effective management of day to day estates matters affecting the efficient operations of a large estate.
The sift will take place Friday 19th June 2026.
Stage 2: Interview
At interview stage, you will be assessed against the following Success Profile elements:

Experience Demonstrable experience in a similar role, linked to the vacancy role profile (Competency assurance, evidenced through appropriate certification or appropriate experience)
The interviews will take place week commencing Monday 6th July 2026.
This interview will be conducted in person at our Swansea office (DVLA Swansea, Longview Road, Morriston, Swansea, SA6 7JL). Further details will be provided to you should you be selected for interview.

If your application is successful but you have been dismissed from the Civil Service, your application could be removed at the pre-employment checking stage depending on the nature of the dismissal.
