Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Laundry & Linen assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing various tasks within the laundrette environment. This position is ideal for individuals who possess strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. We are a busy commercial launderette specialising in linen hire for local hotels and airbnb's and we're looking for new team members to help us keep things running smoothly.

Duties

Operate laundry equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring all machines are maintained and in good working order.
Perform data entry tasks related to customer orders and payments using computerised systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundrette, including folding areas and customer waiting areas.
Handle administrative duties such as clerical work, including filing and record-keeping.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Packing laundry orders and working within deadlines to ensure volumes of laundry are met for client demands

Experience

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient typing skills for data entry purposes.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes within the laundrette setting.

Shift Pattern: 3 shifts per week 9am to 4pm

Weekend commitment: Includes at least 1 weekend day, 3 weekends out of the month.

Overtime: Plenty of opportunities for overtime available for those who wish to pick up extra hours when the business requires.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £13.00 per hour
