Full job description

Truck & Plant Asset Management is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated and organised Admin Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you’ll act as a key point of contact between vendors and buyers participating in our online auctions. You’ll provide administrative and customer support throughout the sales process, helping UK wide companies efficiently manage the disposal of their de-fleeted commercial vehicles, plant, trailers, machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with vendors and buyers to provide information and support throughout the auction process.
Coordinate the administration of vehicle, plant, machinery and equipment disposals.
Respond to enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate records and ensure auction and asset information is kept up to date.
Support vendors with the preparation and management of assets for online sale.
Assist buyers with queries relating to auction lots, collections and purchases.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure auctions run smoothly and efficiently.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
Answering incoming calls and assisting customers with enquiries
Coordinating collection of sold vehicles with buyers and clients
Preparing and sending release notes and payment confirmations
Scanning, filing, and organising vehicle documents
General admin duties including managing mail and supporting the office team
Editing photo's and entering vehicle information onto our auction website

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident communicating with customers and sellers. Previous administration, customer service or auction experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important with full training and support provided.

You’ll need excellent attention to detail, good computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
