About TIFA Life
TIFA Life provides supported accommodation for vulnerable young people aged 16 and over across Wales. We have grown fast, we run our service on our own technology platform, and we are working to be the safest and most professional supported accommodation provider in Wales. We are looking to incept our own recruitment arm, employing DBS-cleared care workers and supplying them to us and to other providers. This is the opportunity to run this project from the outset.
The opportunity
This is a build-and-own role for a recruiter who is ready for their next step. You will develop and own how we resource and roster our services, take cost and risk out of how we staff, and help grow our recruitment agency arm into a commercial agency in its own right. The earning potential grows with what you deliver: a performance bonus on the efficiencies you create, and uncapped commission on the external business you win as we commercialise.
What you will do
- Recruit and onboard our own care staff, building a reliable employed bank so we depend far less on outside agencies.
- Own the rota across our homes: published at least two weeks ahead, no gaps, every shift covered by the right person.
- Bring staffing in-house through our recruitment agency arm, so the value stays with us.
- Keep every worker compliant: DBS, right to work, mandatory training, and our Real Living Wage standard.
- Work in our own platform to plan, fill and evidence staffing, not in spreadsheets.
- Grow our recruitment agency arm externally, supplying vetted care workers to other local authorities and providers. This is where the commission and the path to leading the agency sit.
About you
- Recruitment experience, agency-side or in-house, with a track record of hitting targets.
- Organised, driven and commercially minded, motivated by results and the upside that comes with them.
- Confident with scheduling or systems, and happy working in a digital platform.
- Someone who wants to build and own something, not just fill a seat.
- Experience in care, health, social care or high-volume staffing is welcome but not essential.
- Full right to work in the UK and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Package and growth
- Base salary of £28,000 to £30,000 starting, depending on experience.
- Performance bonus linked to the staffing efficiencies you deliver.
