Position Overview:
We are seeking a Motorcycle Buyer to join our dynamic team at CMC Motorcycles. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of motorcycle trends. This role also requires exceptional interpersonal skills, proficiency in PC software, and the ability to purchase over 350 bikes annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and negotiate the purchase of motorcycles from various suppliers and individuals.
Conduct thorough assessments of motorcycles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and pricing dynamics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and individual sellers.
Utilize PC skills to manage inventory, track purchases, and analyze market data.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless integration of purchased motorcycles into the dealership inventory.

Requirements:

Experience in motorcycle buying or a related field would be helpful.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in PC software, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
In-depth knowledge of motorcycle trends, brands, and models.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet purchasing targets consistently.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for purchasing purposes.
