Full job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our team. As a cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals in our cafe. Your culinary expertise and creativity will contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

12 hours per week

Week 1: Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 3pm

Week 2: Sunday and Monday, 9am to 3pm

Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to plan and develop new menu items
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
