Role details:
Salary: Up to £67,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday with flexibility to meet the business needs

What you’ll do:
As Logistics Manager, you'll lead our transport operation through a team of Transport Shift Managers, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery across a complex and fast-moving environment. You'll be responsible for delivering operational excellence while developing your leadership team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring service, cost and productivity targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with M&S and other key stakeholders, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards while identifying opportunities to improve performance and create lasting operational efficiencies.
- Leading and developing a team of Transport Shift Managers and frontline colleagues
- Delivering exceptional service, safety and compliance standards
- Driving operational performance through effective planning and KPI management
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing costs, productivity and resource utilisation
- Creating a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance
Who you are:
You'll be an experienced transport or logistics leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations and delivering results.
You'll bring:
- Experience leading large-scale transport operations within FMCG, retail, temperature-controlled or similar fast-paced logistics environments
- CPC qualification
- Strong people leadership and team development experience
- Commercial awareness and a focus on operational efficiency
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets and performance metrics
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
- The ability to influence, challenge and drive positive change
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when required
