Client Manager & Course Director/Instructor
H5 Adventure is seeking to appoint a new Client Manager & Course Director to its full-time team. The business is currently run by the owner (Paul) and consists of three full-time employees (Alex, Andrew, Rikki), who we are looking to add to from September 2026.
H5 Adventure is an events-based business, primarily working in the Outdoor Sector delivering Outdoor Activities to a wide range of clients, including schools (State, Independent, SEN), and corporate groups. These events include:
· Team Building Days.
· Multi Activity Residentials.
· Duke of Edinburgh Walking Expeditions (Bronze, Silver and Gold).
· Holiday Club (School Holidays, Easter & Summer).
Based near Royal Wootton Bassett, with access to a private sole use venue, The Lake, we have our storage unit, with workspace, where all of our operations are based. We then travel nationwide, usually up to 4 hours from here to deliver to our clients.
This is a full-time role which requires a flexible and self-motivated individual who can work from home alongside being willing to travel and work from anywhere in the UK.
Client Manager (70%)
· Liaise with clients regarding their bookings, answering questions, problem solving.
· Course Directing or Instructing on Courses, approximately 130 days a year
· Majority of delivery days March – October (Peak Season)
· Ad hoc stores work, approximately 10 days a year.
Essential Qualifications
· 16 Hours First Aid Certificate
· Enhanced DBS on the Update System
· Safeguarding Course
· Full Driving License
And at least 2 of the following:
· Walking Qualification (Mountain Leader, Hill & Moorland Leader, Lowland Leader)
· Paddle UK Coach Award, or Equivalent (Level 2 Coach, etc.)
· Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI) / Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI)
· Archery GB Instructor
· Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Expedition Assessor
Desirable Experience:
· Working on a variety of outdoor activity programs, to include:
o Team Building Days
o Multi Activity Residentials
o DofE Walking Expeditions
o School Holiday CLubs
· Managing/Course Directing on any of the above courses
· Experience of towing trailers
· Level 2 Food & Hygiene Certificate and/or experience of mass catering in a campsite environment
Administrator (30%)
· Produce the following documents prior to each course
o Letter of Contracts (LoC)
o Kit lists (KL)
o Programs/Expedition Overviews
o Site Specific Risk Assessments (SSRA)
o Course Director Briefings (CDB’s)
· Booking campsites, venues, external providers
· Majority of administration completed October – February
Essential Qualifications
· Maths and English – Grade 4 or Above (Grade C or Above)
Desirable Experience
· Experience as an Administrator or relevant role
· Use of MS Office software to produce documents. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
· Excellent organization and time-management skills
· Ability to work without direct supervision – (Working remotely from home)
· Experience in Website design and/or Social Media
Working pattern can be long during the Spring and Summer with time off in August, 2 weeks off during the festive period and the ability to work away for January. For example, one of our current employees worked for 4 weeks in an Austrian Ski Resort and another spent 3 weeks in Scotland in the mountains, both while completing their admin work while in these locations.
Remuneration:
· Annual Salary of £27,000.00 to £32,000.00 pending experience and qualifications listed above.

· Ability to progress within the business to a variety of roles and management positions.
