Job Description - 1 Year Minimum Tyre Fitting Experience ESSENTIAL

Tyre / Service Technician (Mobile & Workshop)

Alternating weekend on call with Tuesday & Thursday evenings on call for mobile fitting, call out paid increasing pay. Pay advertised is basic pay On Target Earnings £40,000 per year.

Doodles Tyres are a Family run 24hr (out of hours mobile) tyre fitting company, operating from our Depot in Melksham, during the day we can be in the workshop and at the flip of the coin out on a breakdown creating an exciting job thats certainly not repetitive. This job will suit an individual who likes a relaxed workshop working environment with tyres, brakes, servicing & dealing with customer enquiries in the reception.

Operation

Working under the workshop manager, and mainly covers the roadside tyre fitting, jobs will send through jobs to your work mobile, you will then be responsible to undertake the task, collect payments, lease with the customers.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year fitting car/van/4x4 tyres, servicing & repair including Brakes.

Wheel alignment experience would be an advantage.

Candidate experience (Advantage)

Tyre Fitting incl run flats, low profile, air suspension vehicles, high value vehicles, batteries, brakes, suspension repairs, servicing to a high level of competence, working on vehicles with air suspension.

Doodles Tyres are looking for an experienced tyre technician to work as part of our workshop & mobile tyre-fitting team based from our Melksham depot.

- Roadside training provided. No more than 6 points on licence.

Job Summary

Deliver an excellent tyre fitting service at various locations ensuring quality and customer service standards are met, whilst ensuring daily targets are achieved.

Main Responsibilities:

Excellent customer service skills, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction are achieved at all times.

Deal with customers in a polite , positive & professional manner
Confident and self assured in dealing with customers
Able to take calls when diverted due to high demand

. Work well on own

Be reliable, honest and punctual
Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with the companies procedures.

Business

To deliver an industry leading workshop & mobile tyre-fitting service to fleet and retail customers, including the inspection, reporting and fitment of tyres and tyre related products.

Organise/prioritise own time to ensure jobs are done in a timely manner.
Adherence of Health & Safety procedure
Be methodical in the workmanship of tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £29,500 - £31,000 based on experience Call Out OTE £40,000
