Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi Skilled Tradesperson to join our team. We convert residential and commercial properties into hmo’s and flats. We all build extensions and dormer loft conversions.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse maintenance, repair, and construction tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for hands-on work in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to utilise and expand their technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door and window installation, and general woodwork
- Conduct roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing
- Carry out construction painting, surface preparation, and finishing work
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete repairs
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication, repairs, and custom metalwork projects
- Assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs where qualified
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Fabricate components or structures as required for various projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to health & safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, electrical work or related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, screwdrivers
- Skilled in operating power tools including drills, grinders, saws,
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures
This role is ideal for a dedicated tradesperson looking to apply their diverse skill set within a supportive team environment. Candidates must be organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship across all projects undertaken.
There will be travelling involved as job‘s can be spread out throughout the north west. Mainly manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, bury, Preston. We are based in wigan so would be handy to have someone local to us.
Pay: £600.00-£800.00 per week
Work Location: On the road
