Brandsafe are looking to expand their project delivery team by recruiting two new Project Safety Engineer's. One will be based in the area of Kettering and the other in Market Harborough. This role involves travelling the UK, visiting customer sites to deliver installation and maintenance projects. The role will be predominately working away from home, with accommodation and stop out allowance provided.
Reporting into the Project Safety Manager, you will assist with on the site coordination of the subcontractor teams, delegating duties and tasks suitable to level and skill. You will be expected to manage and monitor onsite stock to ensure it is maintained, reporting weekly counts to the project support team.
The Project Safety Engineer will work alongside members of the wider operations and sales team to ensure effective project delivery.
Responsibilities

Prior to going to site ensure you and your team have the full and correct job details, materials, work equipment and PPE.

Manage projects on site with the PSM working alongside the Fieldwire drawings and tags ensuring that all installers are delegated duties and tasks suitable for their level of skills and knowledge and wearing the correct PPE to complete the task

Monitor and ensure that projects follow schemes of works outlined by the Field Operations Manager on Fieldwire and adhere to timescales given where possible.

Check and inspect the work carried out by your team to maintain quality and quantity of work being done.

Ensure all necessary safety checks are completed prior to work commencing, to include but not limited to PPE and work/access equipment.

Maintain plant requirements on site and to off hire plant, through the Project Delivery

Manager before we finish on site, ensuring that weekly updates are given so that

Any variation to a method of work (RAMS) should be reported to the Project Safety Manager before alterations are carried out.

On completion of a job ensure all necessary paperwork within the job pack is completed via Fieldwire so site completion report can be sent to the customer including all photos and completion of all tasks to include customer signatures where necessary. All documents are to be passed to the Project Delivery team as soon as possible.

Carry out stock checks of materials and arrange the storage and return of materials before each project finishes on site.

Promote teamwork wherever possible and manage, where possible, complaints on projects whether from team members or customers.

Any site issues or customer complaints to be communicated to the Field Operations Manager, enabling management of continuous improvement.

Maintain company tools and equipment, reporting any defeats/issues using agreed processes.

Vehicle checks are to be completed on a monthly (via Fieldwire) basis by vehicle drivers, and any defects are reported to the Field operations Manager.

Ensure you have the right tools for the role and that the van stock/consumables are up to date and are replenished when required.
