Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Air Conditioning Trainee Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The role is ideal for individuals with an interest in mechanical systems and basic electrical wiring, looking to build a career in engineering within a supportive environment. The trainee will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to various projects and gaining insight into industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units and related equipment.
Support senior engineers in diagnosing faults using schematics and technical diagrams.
Participate in routine inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics relevant to air conditioning systems.
Contribute to equipment repair tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Support construction activities related to HVAC system installations on-site.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts utilised during repairs or installations.
Assist with general maintenance tasks across various sites as required.

Experience

Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of HVAC systems would be an advantage, but not essential; training will be provided.
Exposure to schematics, technical diagrams, or construction environments is advantageous.
Leadership qualities or previous experience leading small teams or projects will be considered a plus.
Prior experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or construction industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
