Position: Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Southeast of England

Job Overview

Endeavour Drilling Ltd. are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Essex. You will serve a key role in the planning and running of Geotechnical Investigations in the East of England. You will be working closely with our experienced Geotechnical team to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard.

Key requirements

Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
Graduates or experienced engineers welcome
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work away from home for short and extended periods
Experience supervising:

o Trial pitting

o Cable percussion drilling

o Rotary drilling

o Window sampling investigations

Soil and rock logging to BS 5930
Preparation of factual ground investigation reports

What the role offers

Full-time position
Company vehicle for site work
Exposure to a wide range of ground investigation and geo-environmental projects
Opportunity to work on infrastructure schemes and challenging site investigations across the UK

Skills that would strengthen an application

Ground investigation supervision
Geotechnical logging and reporting
Ground gas and groundwater monitoring
Health & Safety awareness (CSCS, SSSTS, First Aid, etc., if held)
Experience with infrastructure projects (roads, rail, utilities, construction)

Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
