The Role
Westbury Windows & Joinery are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and proactive glazier to join our skilled factory team.
The successful candidate will be required to glaze with precision and efficiency, ensuring workflow is maintained to the highest standard.
This is a very rewarding, hands-on role that requires previous experience in a factory setting and proven glazing ability within the windows & doors industry.
Key Duties
· Cutting glazing beads and bars to suit requirements
· Fitting glazing tape, glass, beads & bars to various windows & doors
· Installing gasket seals to the majority of units
· Applying silicone sealant to units where required
· Using required hand & power tools to complete tasks above
· Maintaining stock of glazing tape, packers, pins, fittings & screws
· Reporting any defects in glazing units to senior members of staff
· Assistance with cutting & fitting gaskets & seals in frames when needed
· Quality checking of finished products
· Assisting with wrapping of finished products
· Assisting with the loading & unloading of lorries.
· Assistance in other departments as required.
Requirements:
· A good work ethic & a drive to succeed
· Responsible, reliable & conscientious individual
· Experience within the joinery industry is a preference (but not essential)
· Experience glazing windows & doors in a factory environment is a must
· Experience within the double glazing industry is key for this role

· Hardworking individual
· Good command of spoken & written English and be able to work within a team
