Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Spray Tanker Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bitumen tanker vehicles ranging from 7.5 ton truck to towing a small sprayer with a van and ensuring the safe and efficient spraying of materials on site . This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth running of our operations while adhering to health and safety standards. Overtime available. Must be flexible with hours and occasional weekends and Night shifts might be required.

Duties

Drive and operate spray tanker vehicles in accordance with company policies and road safety regulations.
Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Conduct routine inspections of the tanker vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and destinations.
Assist with maintenance tasks, including basic mechanical repairs or adjustments as required.
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational updates or issues.

Experience

A valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicle operation is essential.
Basic CSCS card preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate

Pay: £39,000.00-£40,300.00 per year
