Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Car Body Repairer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, replacing, and refinishing damaged body parts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for vehicle repair and maintenance to develop their skills further.

Duties

Assessing vehicle damage and determining the necessary repairs
Removing damaged panels and components using hand tools and power tools
Repairing or replacing body panels, frames, and other structural elements
Applying fillers, sanding, and refinishing surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
Using specialised equipment to realign vehicle frames and ensure structural integrity
Maintaining a clean and organised work area to adhere to health and safety standards
Collaborating with other team members to complete repairs efficiently and to high standards
Documenting repair work completed for each vehicle

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Car Body Repairer or similar role within an automotive workshop
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and screwdrivers
Experience with power tools including sanders, grinders, and drills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy components
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive body repair are advantageous but not essential

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical skills in a professional setting while contributing to the restoration of vehicles to the highest standards.
