Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fast Food Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy fast food establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing the overall efficiency of the restaurant to provide a seamless dining experience for our customers.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including cooks, servers, and cleaning personnel
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Train new staff members on kitchen procedures, customer service, and safety standards
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any complaints or concerns promptly
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas at all times
- Assist in developing menu items in collaboration with culinary staff to enhance offerings
- Maintain operational records, including sales reports, staff schedules, and inventory logs
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a fast-paced environment
- Supervising experience with strong team management capabilities
- Extensive restaurant or hospitality experience, preferably within a quick-service setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining high standards of service and safety
