Job Function:

Oversee the day to day manufacturing processing operations with respect to processing, stock management and health & safety requirements and support other functions within the warehouse.

Work with the Manufacturing Manager or Warehousing Manager to ensure all processing support for Lake are met.

Support the LMS Facilities to develop the capabilities for food and chemical processing and laboratory formulation activities.

Deputise for the Manufacturing Manager or Warehouse Manager in their absence, with regards to manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Duties:

Processing

Oversee production processes, implementing the correct regulatory framework
Manage stock levels in conjunction with the BSC
Carry out cleaning activities to maintain high standards of food safety, GMP, and general warehouse hygiene
Write and review procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
Support all processing activities
Assist in planning production time to ensure customer needs are met and resources are appropriately allocated
Check finished records to ensure right-first-time compliance

Managing Warehouse and Stock Movements

Produce weekly and monthly stock reports relating to food and chemical processing activities
Ensure all packaging is available when required
Take photos, scan documents, and send emails as required
Facilitate stock audits
Record and maintain BRC and MHRA work instructions
Re-order consumables
Liaise with QRESH and H&S to maintain quality management processes, health and safety, hygiene, and security standards

Goods Dispatch

Arrange transport for finished goods, including deliveries and collections
Liaise with customer hauliers to arrange collections and deliveries, maintaining detailed records in conjunction with the BSC

Health and Safety

Ensure correct handling of materials
Check MSDS for hazardous information and relay to appropriate staff
Ensure excellent food safety standards are maintained at all times
Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials and finished goods
Raise near-miss and incident reports
Apply strict segregation rules for storage of foodstuffs and chemicals
Identify locations of raw materials and finished products
Check receipt of orders against purchase orders
Maintain warehouse cleanliness

Training

Review training requirements for new and existing processes to ensure compliance
Ensure all training requirements on HRIS are completed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
