Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Skilled Labourer/Groundworker to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in supporting construction, landscaping, and site development projects by performing a variety of physical tasks. Your energy, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to impactful infrastructure and landscaping initiatives.

Duties

Assist with site preparation including clearing, leveling, and excavating work to create safe and efficient work environments
Operate basic tools and machinery such as shovels, wheelbarrows, compactors, and hand-held power tools with precision and care
Support the installation of landscaping features, fencing, paving, or other groundworks as directed by supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with material handling including loading, unloading, and transporting supplies around the site
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during tasks
Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time and uphold quality standards

Experience

Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or groundworks is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery used in groundworking activities is advantageous
Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction or landscaping sites
