Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional pharmacy environment, contributing to the wellbeing of our patients.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering medication guidance under supervision
Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and stock levels
Support medication administration processes where applicable, ensuring safety and compliance
Organise and manage pharmacy stock, including ordering and inventory checks
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of medicines and equipment

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser (1-2 years experience required)
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively support patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A recognised qualification or certification related to pharmacy dispens role.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards

Pay: £12.71-£12.90 per hour
