Full job description

Job Overview

CIS or subcontract labour required for Fire alarm 1st and 2nd fix. Ongoing school projects.

Must be experienced in fire alarm installation, would suit electrician and mates.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and system design documents to plan installation layouts.
Install fire alarm systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques across various building types.
Connect wiring and electrical components following electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless integration into building infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience with electrical work, construction projects, or mechanical systems related to fire alarm installations.
Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry standards relevant to fire alarm systems.
Ability to interpret technical schematics and system diagrams accurately.
Prior experience working on fire alarm or security system installations is highly desirable.
