Full job description

Office Manager — Construction / Home Improvement

We're a growing construction and home improvement business looking for an Office Manager to own how the office runs — and to grow with us as we scale.

This isn't a caretaker role. You'll bring proven operational experience, put proper systems in place, and build a team around you as the business expands.

What you'll do

Run daily office operations: scheduling, job coordination, supplies and support for the field team
Build and improve the systems the business runs on — job tracking, document control, compliance and supplier paperwork
Own and report on operational KPIs
Maintain accurate records in our accounting software: invoicing, purchase invoices, expenses and budgets
Handle HR admin — onboarding, employee records, holidays, training and certification renewals
Be the main point of contact for customers, suppliers and subcontractors
Recruit, train and delegate to admin staff as we grow

What we're looking for

Office management or operations experience in construction, home improvement or trades
A track record of introducing systems that made a business run better
Comfortable working to KPIs and being measured on results
Quick, confident problem solver — you fix it on the spot, then stop it happening again
Able to delegate and manage a small admin team
Proficient with QuickBooks, Xero or similar
Highly organised, detail-focused, professional with customers
Ambition to grow with the company
