Venue Assistant – Alley Cats Pizza

Up to £15.71 per hour including tronc

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Venue Assistant to join our team.

As a Venue Assistant at Alley Cat's Pizza, you will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities so we need a hands-on individual happy to help with different tasks for both front of the house and back of the house.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food preparation, bathrooms and restaurant when needed
Wash and store kitchen equipment and utensils in line with health and safety procedures
Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling is sorted correctly
Support with deliveries - heavy lifting will be required, as well as frequent travel up and down stairs
Assist with basic food preparation tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Venue Assistant
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
