Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled yard operator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have farming/machinery/forestry experience and be confident in operating various tractors, trailers, telehandlers and forklifts and have sound mechanical knowledge and understanding.

Applicants should possess relevant experience and a proactive attitude to

Responsibilities

Operate farming/machinery confidently and proficiently.
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper loading, unloading, and storage.
Manage yard duties including cleaning, tidying of workshop and vehicles.
Assist with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
Conduct heavy lifting tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

Proven experience in operating farming/machinery
Experience with materials handling and have an eye for detail.
Mechanical knowledge
Be fit and able to be on your feet and perform lifting safely and efficiently

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
