We are currently recruiting 2 Full Time care House Keeper working flexible SHIFTS to join our already established team. You are responsible for providing the delivery of high quality care to service users in accordance with up to date, evidence-based professional practice and company policies.
Job Purpose
To ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout care Home.
Principal Accountabilities
- To be responsible for ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures in the discharging of principal accountabilities and functions
- To undertake general cleaning duties in all areas specified in the cleaning schedule to the standard required, replenishing toiletry items, including the requisitioning, storage, and distribution of such items
- To ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all bedrooms/corridors/function rooms, public areas are maintained
- To remove all rubbish, as directed, to designated areas
- Ensuring the up keep of vacant rooms
- To maintain timely and accurate records as required by the organisation
- To effectively manage the laundry procedures and required flow of laundry to prevent a build up
- To ensure that personal laundry is appropriately marked, identified and returned to the correct individual
- To be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of laundry equipment and the daily de-fluffling of the dryers, reporting any defects to the Home Manager
- To maintain the laundry room and storage areas in a clean and hygienic condition
- To establish and maintain position relationships with collegues, residents, visitors and other individuals visiting or working in the home
- To represent the company as an honest, knowledgeable and conscientious ambassador
- To help maintain a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors through due diligence and compliance with health and safety and operational policies
- To undertake any other duties in order to meet personal, team and organisational objectives following consultation with the manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
