Bannister Hall Landscape Design & Supplies Centre are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative landscape concepts, creating detailed design plans, and collaborating closely with clients and contractors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape outdoor environments that blend aesthetic appeal with functional sustainability. The successful applicant will utilise a range of design software and possess strong project management skills to deliver high-quality landscape projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts that align with client needs, site conditions, and environmental considerations.
- Create detailed drawings and visualisations using various software programmes, Vector Works, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (or preferred).
- Prepare accurate 3D CAD drawings and technical documentation for construction purposes.
- Visit client sites to take project briefs, advise and take requires measurements.
- Collaborate with clients, installers and contractors to ensure design feasibility and project alignment.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints through effective project management techniques.
- Oversee the implementation of landscape designs during construction phases, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits for assessment, supervision, and post-installation review to ensure project success.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative landscape solutions to enhance design quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape architecture or design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Proficiency in design software, e.g, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, Vector Works, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- First rate presentation skills, attention to detail and highly organised.
- Solid understanding of CAD standards and construction processes within the landscape industry.
- Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong visualisation skills complemented by effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental considerations is desirable.
- Possess a positive team focused attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: £38,000.00-£41,500.00 per year
