About Us

JFT Engineering Ltd is a growing engineering and fabrication business providing high quality manufacturing, repair and engineering services to a wide range of customers. We are looking for a proactive and organised Office & Workshop Manager to become a key member of our team and help drive the smooth day to day running of both our office and workshop operations.

The Role

This is a varied and hands on position that combines office administration, workshop coordination, customer service and operational management.

You will be responsible for ensuring jobs are processed efficiently from enquiry through to completion, while supporting both customers and workshop staff.

Key Responsibilities

Managing daily office operations and administration
Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers
Ordering materials, tooling and consumables
Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate records
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

About You

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident communicating with customers and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy engineering enviroment.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an office management, operations, workshop administration or similar role
strong oganisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Attention to detail and a problem solving mindset
Full UK driving license (due to location).

Desirable

Experience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, automotive or industrial sectors

Working hours are, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Rate of Pay Depending on Experience
