To provide the full range of services under the current Post Office contract including: payment of pensions and benefits, postal services, postal orders, sale of foreign currency, banking services. This is a job share position working an average of 17.5 hours per week spread over a 3 week cycle including early starts and working one Saturday morning in three. Cover for sickness and holidays is a requirement. You must be literate with a high level of numeracy.
Working in the shop includes checking in/out papers and magazines, pricing goods, assisting volunteers in the shop, ordering stock and cashing up the shop till.
An ideal position for retired or redundant bank cashiers.
