Full job description

Job Overview

AK Construction SW LTD are looking for reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidates will assist in various manual labour tasks to support our varying projects.

You will be working alongside experienced trades across full and varied projects, assisting with general site duties, groundwork, and most importantly maintaining high standards on site.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing company delivering higher-end domestic construction work, with the chance to develop long-term within the business

Role consists of:

Assisiting with general duties on residential construction sites
Help/ support groundwork and landscaping activities as needed
Efficient & safe loading, unloading, and moving materials on site
Using hand tools and basic power tools safely
Assisting tradespeople with daily tasks on site
Keeping the work environment clean, organised and safe at all times

Requirements:

Physically capable of performing manual labour
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Comfortable working outdoors regardless of weather conditions
Some experience with tools or construction work is preferred
Essential to have a full UK driving license and reliable transport
Positive and respectful attitude and eagerness to learn
Must be based near the Taunton area or within a reasonable commute

Desirable (not essential):

Previous experience in construction or similar work
