Sales Development Representative (New Client Sales – Digital Care Software)
Office-based in Tavistock, Devon with flexible home working
Part Time | Monday–Friday, 25 hours per week
£28k Salary FTE (pro rata for part-time hours), with uncapped Commission Earnings.

We are entering a major growth phase, with new products, new revenue streams, and a stronger commercial focus. As part of that, we are looking for a driven Sales Development Executive to help generate opportunity, build pipeline, and support new business growth.
The Role
We are looking for a hungry, energetic, commercially minded Sales Development Executive who wants to build a serious sales career and be rewarded for performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the front end of sales — opening doors, creating conversations, identifying opportunity, and helping drive business forward. You will play a key role in generating new leads, qualifying opportunities, booking meetings and demos, and helping turn early interest into real commercial pipeline.
This is not a passive sales support role. We want someone with energy, confidence, resilience, and the drive to make things happen.
You do not need to be the finished article already — but you do need to have the right mentality: proactive, motivated, competitive, and genuinely excited by winning.
What You’ll Be Doing
Proactively identifying and approaching new prospects across our target market
Generating new business opportunities through outbound activity, follow-up, referrals, networking, events, and social selling
Qualifying leads and identifying real sales opportunities
Booking meetings and demonstrations for the wider commercial team and, where appropriate, running early-stage sales conversations directly
Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective customers
Working closely with the BDM, Sales Manager, and wider commercial team to progress opportunities
Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
Following up marketing activity, campaigns, inbound interest, and existing prospects
Helping drive revenue growth across software, modules, add-ons, and new services
Bringing pace, effort, and positivity into the commercial function
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with the attitude and drive to succeed in a fast-moving commercial role.
You may currently be:
A BDE, SDR, Sales Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, or similar
In a customer-facing commercial role and ready for something with more growth and reward
Early in your sales career but already showing strong drive and confidence
Someone with good commercial instincts who wants to progress quickly
You will likely be:
Confident speaking to new people and creating rapport quickly
Comfortable with outbound activity and proactive sales work
Self-motivated and able to keep momentum high
Organised enough to manage leads, follow-ups, and activity properly
Resilient and positive, even when things do not land first time
Ambitious and genuinely motivated by commission and progression

This can be a hybrid role, with flexibility to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the office each week.
