Receptionist – Join Our Friendly Dental Team!
Middleton St George Dental Care is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our welcoming, professional team.
We're looking for someone who's bubbly, proactive, organised and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to every patient, every time.
This is much more than a traditional reception role. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping to create an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You'll also play an important part in promoting the practice by building relationships with patients, supporting our marketing activities and helping showcase the high-quality care we provide.

We're a fully private, four-surgery practice situated in the heart of Middleton St George, with on-site parking and a loyal patient base.
Our practice combines a friendly, supportive team culture with cutting-edge technology, including:

About the Role
We're seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic and patient-focused individual who thrives in a busy, people-facing environment. You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent communication skills and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience.
This is a full-time position working:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Occasional Saturdays (on a rota basis)
Experience in a customer-facing role within dental, healthcare or hospitality is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, friendly and professional welcome to every patient, both in person and over the telephone.
- Manage clinicians' diaries and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout every stage of the patient journey.
- Handle patient enquiries confidently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate patient records, correspondence and administrative tasks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Confidently discuss treatments, membership plans and practice services, ensuring patients feel informed and supported.
- Build genuine relationships with patients, helping them feel relaxed and valued.
- Identify opportunities to gather patient testimonials and encourage online reviews.
- Obtain patient consent and assist with taking high-quality photographs and videos for marketing, social media and educational purposes.
- Work alongside the clinical team to showcase patient smile journeys and treatment success stories.
- Assist in creating engaging content for the practice's website and social media channels.
- Represent the practice professionally at all times and contribute ideas to help grow the practice and enhance the patient experience.
- Remain calm, organised and positive in a busy environment.
