Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Vehicle Technician and become a vital part of keeping vehicles in top condition! In this energetic role, you will perform comprehensive inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our service center. Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake replacements, engine diagnostics, and tire services
Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
Document all work performed accurately in service records and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
Support the team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring tools are properly stored after use

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively
Proficiency in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, impact wrenches)
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety guidelines
Excellent attention to detail for accurate diagnostics and quality repairs
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical information clearly
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on automotive technologies, yearly planned training is organised through Tec topics Bridgewater
Must be currently working in a garage
Fully qualified
Mot licence or Willingness to be one
