Panel Saw / Wall Saw Operator – Production Operative

Overview
We are looking for a reliable Panel Saw / Wall Saw Operator to join our production team in Telford.
This is a hands-on role involving the accurate cutting of sheet materials using panel saw and wall saw machinery. The role would suit someone with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, joinery, warehouse production, sheet material cutting, or a similar practical environment.
Responsibilities
- Operating panel saw and wall saw machinery safely and accurately
- Cutting sheet materials to required sizes and specifications
- Measuring materials and working from job sheets or cutting lists
- Quality checking finished products
- Handling and moving materials safely
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and safe
- Assisting with general production and warehouse duties when required
- Following company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience using panel saws, wall saws, table saws, or similar cutting machinery preferred
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Able to measure accurately and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a small team
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Previous experience in manufacturing, joinery, fabrication, warehouse, or production work would be beneficial
- Forklift experience would be useful but is not essential
