Job Title: Leisure Assistant
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Location: Hadley Learning Community, Waterloo Road, Hadley, Telford, Shropshire, England, TF1 5NU

We are looking for a customer focused Leisure Assistant to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all users of the Leisure Centre, with particular attention being made to those utilising the pool facilities.

You will be required to work as part of a team and individually to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lifeguarding, setting up sports equipment, administering first aid. You will also be expected to complete additional duties assigned to you by your line manager.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and will be enthusiastic in attending lifeguard training on a monthly basis.

Mitie is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
