As we continue to grow and build on our success, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to support operations at our Telford Warehouse Site, helping to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse while maintaining our high operational standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting Daily Operations: Assisting in the smooth running of warehouse activities, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
- Leading by Example: Supervising and supporting warehouse staff to maintain productivity, morale, and high operational standards.
- Stock Control Excellence: Monitoring stock movements and inventory accuracy to ensure products are always in the right place at the right time.
- Health & Safety Focus: Helping maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment across all warehouse areas.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, workflows, and operational performance.
- Team Coordination: Working closely with warehouse, purchasing, and management teams to ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Problem Solving: Responding quickly to operational challenges and helping implement practical solutions to keep everything moving smoothly.
- Operational Support: Assisting with warehouse reporting, scheduling, and general administrative duties to support the wider operation.
- Site Collaboration: Liaising with satellite storage locations and the broader Oswestry site when required.
What You’ll Bring
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supervisory role.
