Meetings & Events Coordinator – Telford

Are you an organised, customer-focused professional with a passion for delivering outstanding events?

We are recruiting a Meetings & Events Coordinator to join a busy and professional hospitality team in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building client relationships, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate conferences, meetings, weddings and private events from enquiry through to completion.
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and prepare tailored event proposals.
Produce function sheets and communicate event details effectively with operational departments.
Conduct venue show rounds and maintain regular communication with clients.
Ensure all event details are accurate and delivered to the highest standard.
Support the Meetings & Events team in achieving revenue and service targets.
Provide excellent customer service before, during and after each event.

Requirements

Previous experience in Meetings & Events, Events Coordination, Conference & Banqueting, or Hotel Sales.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office; experience with hotel management systems is advantageous.
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends when required.
