Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical work and customer service to develop their career within a dynamic environment. The position involves working with various tools and equipment, requiring physical strength and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres on a range of commercial vehicles using appropriate hand and power tools
Conduct tyre repairs, including patching and sealing punctures
Perform routine maintenance checks on tyres and related components
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Assist customers with tyre-related enquiries, providing professional advice and support
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use
Keep accurate records of all work carried out for each vehicle

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to tyre fitting and vehicle maintenance
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting processes
Strong maintenance skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
Excellent customer service skills to assist clients effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tyres and equipment
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

This role is ideal for candidates who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a professional team dedicated to delivering high-quality service.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
