Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Landscaper to join our vibrant team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, or public landscapes. Your enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor maintenance will help transform ordinary areas into stunning environments that inspire and delight. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to the beautification of our community.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive plantings.
Operate power tools such as hedge trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers efficiently and safely.
Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades to carry out planting, soil preparation, and other landscaping activities.
Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules.
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
Assist with construction-related tasks including installing new features like pathways, retaining walls, or garden beds.
Conduct routine landscape maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment or tools as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance and gardening practices with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on power tools and equipment.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for landscaping projects.
Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively.
Knowledge of irrigation systems for installation, repair, and maintenance purposes.
Construction experience is a plus for assisting with landscape features or site development projects.
Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions.
